2024 Schedule of Events

We are getting geared up for an exciting year and hope you are too! Our goal is for everyone to enjoy what the park has to offer while making friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. After all, our motto is "Where Friends Become Family."

Our new multi purpose area in the playground is a much needed improvement and is sure to bring enjoyment for kids and adults alike. This grassy area is fenced in and will serve as a soccer field for the younger kids and cornhole or horseshoe tournaments for adults. The possibilities are endless. Even if you don't want to play you can have a great time as a spectator.

We have planned the following events this year and hope everyone will join in the fun where an ordinary day can become an extraordinary one. This is a tentative schedule and is subject to change. February 14th - Valentine's Sweet Exchange❣️ (sorry it has come and gone, all diets were off) We had a great time! May have gained a few pounds but it was worth it!

March 9th - LL Family Workday we are needing volunteers to help around the Cross and the Playground. If you can lend a hand we would greatly appreciate it! Team work makes the dream work! We will be getting started at 9:00 am. Rain Date will be 3/23.

March 16th - St. Patrick's Lucky Leprechaun Bingo - Is luck on your side? Grab your green and your lucky charm and join us at the Clubhouse from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

March 30th - 31st Easter Weekend 🐰 is filled with lots of fun for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. We will have Crafts, Pictures with the Easter Bunny, Children's Egg Hunt and last but not least an Adult Golf Cart Egg Hunt. The speed limit will be raised to 10 mph. Who's up for some fun?

March 31st Easter Sunday Services will be held at the Cross @ 9:00 am.

April 13th - 2nd Annual Fishing Rodeo 🎣 sponsored by Lake Church from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Pond. Be sure to mark your calendar, you don't want to miss this one, it's going to be a lot of fun. Rain date is 4/27.

May 17th - Friday Night Flicks @ 6:00 pm at the Field. We will be serving hot dogs and chips.

May 24th - 26th - Memorial Day Weekend is sure to have something for everyone. We'll have a Silent Auction, Crafts, Poker Runs, Cornhole Tournament, Kids Soccer, Music and more! Most important we will have our Logan Landing annual Memorial Program Honoring our Fallen Heroes followed by a Flag Retiring Ceremony delivered by Wayne Braxton.

June 8th Battle of the Bands on stage at the Playground from noon until 6:00 pm. Be sure to check this out and see if your favorite band takes home the title. Where else can you go hear multiple bands and not go broke?

June 14th Friday Night Flicks at 7:30 pm in the Field. Come out and enjoy the family friendly movie and popcorn under the stars.

June 29th Site Beautification Contest Okay, roll up your sleeves and get ready for a little competition. We need all hands on deck! This is for bragging rights! Oh, did we forget to say there's prize money? That makes it more exciting...right? Of course it does! The winner will receive $250.00 in cold hard cash. Judging will be done on 6/29, the winner will be announced on July 6th over the holiday weekend. Ready... set....go ahead and get started!

July 4th - 6th Independence Day Weekend is packed with celebrations. This year our Golf Cart Parade will be on Thursday the 4th and includes a Decorating Contest (the Ice Cream Social will be held on Saturday). Additional activities include Crafts, Cornhole Tournaments, Poker Runs, Movie, Ice Cream Social, the band "Stay Tuned" and of course FIREWORKS 🎇🎆.

August 30th - September 1st Labor Day Weekend will keep you busy taking part in the activities! We'll have another Silent Auction to raise money for our Recreation Fund also our first Kayak Races, Nerf Gun Battles, Poker Runs, Scavenger Hunt, Cornhole Tournament, Music and more.

September 15th - Community Golf Cart Pot Luck at the field @ 12:00 pm. Come enjoy some great food and fellowship!

September 20th - Beach Bonfire 🔥 @ 7:00 pm to welcome Fall, hope you all will be there!

October 4th - Luau on the Beach @ 5:30 pm

October 26th - Halloween Activities 🎃 include Crafts, Poker Run, Pumpkin Decorating, Costume Contest, Trick or Treating and a Movie or Hayrides

November 9th - Thanksgiving Dinner 🦃 @ 5:00 pm. We are thankful for all of our residents, What are you thankful for?

November 11th - Veterans Day Observance

November 30th - Christmas Tree Decorating 🌲at the Field beginning at 4:00 pm

December 7th - Christmas Party at the Clubhouse @ 5:00 pm. Santa Claus will visit the Children and the Adults will play Dirty Santa (as in take away). It's always interesting to see adults playing like kids!!

December 24th - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at the Cross @ 10:00 pm (weather permitting, otherwise it will be in the Clubhouse).

The secret to having fun is to get involved. So... come one come all, you're sure to have a ball! We look forward to making this year better than ever.
